Welcome to Quavril. These terms are a real agreement between you and us, so we've written them to be actually readable. The short version: be 16 or older, use Quavril to learn, pay only for what you signed up for, and cancel whenever you like.
Quavril is a product of Rise Solutions LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company. When these terms say "Quavril," "we," or "us," that's who we mean. You can reach us anytime at hello@quavril.com.
Quavril is a language-learning service where you practice speaking with Inara, an AI tutor. Inara is artificial intelligence — warm and capable, but not a human being, and like all AI she can occasionally make mistakes. If something she says seems off, trust your judgment and feel free to ask her again, or ask us.
You must be 16 years of age or older. By creating an account you confirm that you are. Quavril is currently available to residents of the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Singapore; we're working on more countries.
You sign in with your email address — no passwords. Keep access to your email secure, because anyone with your sign-in link can access your account. One account per person, please.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Charges appear on your statement as QUAVRIL.
Cancelling always stops future billing. If something went wrong — a duplicate charge, a billing mistake, or the service genuinely failed you — email us at hello@quavril.com and a human will make it right. Where local consumer law gives you refund rights, those rights are yours and nothing here reduces them.
The daily allowance exists so one person's automation can't crowd out everyone else's learning. Please don't script, scrape, resell, or programmatically access Quavril; don't try to make Inara act against her guidelines; and don't use Quavril for anything unlawful. We may apply reasonable rate limits and may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
What you say in your lessons is yours. Our course materials, lesson design, audio, characters (including Inara), and software are ours — Rise Solutions LLC's — and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription gives you personal, non-transferable access to use them for learning; it doesn't transfer ownership or permit republishing them.
The details live in our Privacy Policy, but the headline belongs here too: your practice audio is transcribed and immediately discarded — never stored. We collect the minimum needed to teach you, and we don't sell your data.
We improve Quavril constantly, which means features may change. We'll never remove something you've paid for mid-cycle without a fair remedy. Like any online service, we can't promise 100% uptime, and Quavril is provided "as is" to the extent your local law allows.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected to Quavril is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or your non-waivable consumer rights.
You can close your account anytime by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. If we ever discontinue Quavril, we'll give you reasonable notice and a fair resolution of any prepaid period.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and the new version will show its date at the top. Continuing to use Quavril after that date means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. We'd genuinely rather solve any problem with you directly — write to us first and we'll try hard. Any dispute that can't be resolved that way may be brought in the courts of Wyoming, or in your local courts where consumer law guarantees you that right, or in small-claims court where eligible.
