Privacy policies are usually written to protect companies. This one is written to inform you. It's short because we collect little.

What we deliberately don't collect: your practice audio (discarded on transcription), your name (unless you choose to tell Inara), your location beyond country, your contacts, advertising identifiers, or anything scraped from elsewhere.
Like nearly every online service, we rely on a small set of processors — companies that handle data only on our instructions to run Quavril:

We don't permit our processors to use your data for their own advertising, and we choose vendors whose terms respect that. Your lesson content is not used by us to train AI models.
Quavril is operated from the United States, and your data is processed and stored there. If you use Quavril from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, or Singapore, you're consenting to that transfer — protected by the commitments in this policy wherever the servers sit.

Quavril is for learners 16 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16, and we don't direct our advertising to children. If you believe someone under 16 has created an account, email us and we'll delete it promptly.
Quavril uses one essential cookie: your sign-in session. No advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no analytics that follow you around the internet.
Inara is an AI tutor. Your messages to her are processed by our AI providers to generate her replies — that's how the tutoring works. She is not a human, and conversations with her are not reviewed by humans except: if you ask for support, if the law requires it, or in anonymized aggregate to fix product problems.
If we materially change this policy, we'll email you before the change takes effect. The date at the top always tells you the current version.
